Say Something

At Charlotte Secondary School, safety is of the utmost importance. We are all stakeholders in ensuring that students, staff, parents and the community remain this way. You are encouraged to check in with your student on a regular basis to open or maintain lines of communication. This could include over dinner, in the car, on the way home, etc. Asking specific questions about their day and school experience can also help rather than yes or no questions - ie "Did you have a  good day?". If when speaking with your student and concerns arise, there is a program available for anonymous reporting. Submitting tips through this state and nationally monitored program will assist us in maintaining our high standards and expectations of safety.

Say Something - The only anonymous reporting system to provide a holistic solution to school violence prevention. Featuring educational program, easy-to-use reporting technology, ongoing curriculum, and sustainability support.

If you see suspicious activity, report it to the program and describe specifically what you observed, including:

  • Who or what you saw;

  • When you saw it;

  • Where it occurred; and

  • Why it’s suspicious.
